The Australian Pink Floyd Show

Rock,Cover/Tribute Band/Performer

The World's Number One Pink Floyd Tribute is the Australian Pink Floyd Show. Formed in Adelaide, South Australia in 1988, the group has the dubious honor of receiving the ultimate endorsement in 1996, becoming the only Floyd tribute band to be asked to perform for a member of Pink Floyd, namely David Gilmour's 50th birthday party. Authenticity is the game, as the band faithfully recreates the live sound from all eras of the band, from the 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn' to 'The Wall' to 'The Division Bell.'

Waitress

Musical

Brought to life by a groundbreaking all-female creative team, this new hit features original music and lyrics by six-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles ("Brave," "Love Song"), a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson ("I Am Sam") and direction by Tony Award-winner Diane Paulus ("Hair," "Pippin," "Finding Neverland"). Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's beloved film, "Waitress" tells the story of Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and loveless marriage. A baking contest in a nearby county and the town's new doctor may offer her a chance at a fresh start, while her fellow waitresses offer their own recipes for happiness. But Jenna must summon the strength and courage to rebuild her own life.

Death Cab for Cutie

Pop,Rock,Alternative

Formed in Bellingham, Washington back in 1997, Death Cab for Cutie began as a solo project for singer/songwriter Ben Gibbard. The underground success of his self-produced cassette 'You Can Play These Songs' Chords' inspired Gibbard to recruit a full-time band. In the summer of 1998, Death Cab for Cutie issued their debut LP, 'Something About Airplanes,' to much acclaim from indie circles. They've gone on to issue seven albums, including 'Codes and Keys,' the band's first new album in three years.
