Weird Al Yankovic

Musical Comedy,Rock,Pop

Since "My Bologna" hit the airwaves in the '80s, Weird Al's career has successfully spoofed "The King of Pop," Michael Jackson, on up through "Mother Monster," Lady Gaga. In between, he's done guest-stints on "The Simpsons," filmed a comedy special and released a book, appropriately titled, "Weird Al: The Book." In other words, Weird Al is about as popular as ever. His song parodies and originals have been a staple on "The Dr. Demento Show," while his live shows are a comedic tour de force and an experience all their own. After his highly successful Mandatory World Tour (200 dates including the Hollywood Bowl and Radio City Music Hall), Yankovic decided that he wanted to take a break from the high-octane theatrics that he’s known for and go bare-bones – no costumes, no props, no video screens… just Al and his band of three decades hanging out on stage, playing music. Because of the nature of the show, Yankovic will be performing exclusively in intimate theatres and settings.

Todd Rundgren

Rock,Pop

Todd Rundgren is one of rock's true visionaries, experimenting with various media to fashion his pop masterpieces. After starting in the Philadelphia-area band Nazz in the mid-'60s ("Open My Eyes"), Rundgren took off as a star in the early '70s, with many hits, including "Hello, It's Me," "I Saw the Light" and a for-note replication of The Beach Boys' "Good Vibrations." He also started the band Utopia in the late '70s, and had three critically acclaimed albums with them in the early '80s. In recent years, he has performed both on his own (that included a mid-'90s tour during the lounge craze, where he played tiki versions of his hits) and with Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band, but he returned to the limelight in 2017 with the politically charged album "White Knight"; it which featured the single "Mr. Tin Foil Hat," co-written with and sung by Steely Dan's Donald Fagen.

Buddy Guy

Blues,Rock

Whether blues guitar legend Buddy Guy is playing a lick behind his back, picking strings with his teeth, “singing with gentle menace or bending new curves into a blue note” (The New York Times), his electrifying live performances showcase his incendiary style that altered the direction of the instrument. A pioneer of electric blues, Guy’s name is as synonymous with the great generation of musicians he played with (Muddy Waters; Howlin’ Wolf) as with the rock titans he influenced (Jimi Hendrix; Eric Clapton). An American treasure with a career spanning six decades, his recent work is some of his richest music yet, confirming that “Guy is the greatest living Chicago bluesman, and one of the most influential guitar players ever” (Rolling Stone).

David Cross

Stand Up Comedy

Irreverent comedian and social commentator David Cross has maintained a relatively low celebrity profile while at the same time working consistently in TV, film, and the live performance circuit, endearing himself to legions of fans. His smart and fearless comedy style is marked by a simultaneous honesty and cynicism that kind of goes beyond satire to somewhere else. His solo work tends to focus on topics of religion, politics, and a total refusal to skirt around any issue. Characterized by his small frame, bald head, and black glasses, his major career accomplishment has been as one-half of the HBO series 'Mr. Show with Bob and David.' Born in Atlanta, GA, he went to college in Boston and started doing stand-up comedy before moving out to Los Angeles. He met Bob Odenkirk while working as a writer for 'The Ben Stiller Show' on HBO and the two joined forces to create the unique sketch comedy series 'Mr. Show' in 1995. With Odenkirk and Cross as the original funders, writers, actors, and executive producers, the show was nominated for several Emmy awards and eventually ended in 1998.

Erasure

Dance/House,Pop,Electronic

Erasure formed in 1985 out of the departure of founding Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke (who was then one half of Yaz opposite Alison Moyet) and singer Andy Bell. Like Yaz and Depeche Mode, Erasure were a synth-based group, but they had stronger dance inclinations, as well as a sharper, more accessible sense of pop songcraft. Among the duo's hit singles are "Oh l'amour," "Chains of Love," "Blue Savannah," "Stop!," "Love to Hate You" and their cover of ABBA's ''Take a Chance on Me." The duo's latest release, "The Violet Flame," follows 2013's critically acclaimed "Snow Globe," and is the band's sixteenth studio album release.
