Electronic,Club Music

To some, it must seem like this young electronic producer came out of nowhere this year. Emancipator (Doug Appling) played his first live show in July 2009, opening for Bonobo at the Roseland Theater (cap. 1500). Since then, he’s toured with Bassnectar, STS9, Pretty Lights, drawn crowds at festivals like Trinumeral and Symbiosis, and closed out Sound Tribe Sector 9’s late night parties in Denver at the request of the band.

The Darkness


England's the Darkness centers around guitarist and vocalist Justin Hawkins, his brother Dan Hawkins, bassist Frankie Poullain and drummer Ed Graham. Exploding onto Britain's rock scene in 2002, the Darkness single-handedly resurrected the rather unfashionable sounds and attitudes of late-‘70s hard rock for an unsuspecting generation.

Throughout his storied career, he’s unleashed his demons night after night on stage, sharing an escape with audiences of millions. However, Davis does something that he’s never done before on his 2018 solo debut, aiming to transport listeners "...into somewhere that’s spiritual, positive, and makes them really think!"

Amanda Palmer


Palmer is a performer, director, blogger and musician who founded the acclaimed punk cabaret band The Dresden Dolls. In 2008, she released her debut solo album, 'Who Killed Amanda Palmer,' produced by Ben Folds and accompanied by a fine art photography book featuring text by the author Neil Gaiman (who married Palmer in 2010). Palmer tends a widely read blog and Twitter feed – She was dubbed “The Social Media Queen of Rock-N-Roll” by The Huffington Post. In May 2017, she teamed with Edward Ka-Spel, founding member and songwriter of the cult psychedelic band The Legendary Pink Dots, to release the album "I Can Spin a Rainbow."

The Breeders


Fronted by former Pixies bassist Kim Deal, the Breeders scored an alternative hit in 1993 with their 'Last Splash' album and expanded their following with main-stage appearances on the Lollapalooza tour. In addition to Deal, the group features her sister Kelley, Jose Medeles and Carrie Bradley.

As the Crow Flies


Chris Robinson has songs he wants to sing. As frontman for The Black Crowes—one of the most prolific and celebrated rock ’n’ roll bands of its generation—he co-wrote classics like “Jealous Again,” “Remedy,” “She Talks To Angels,” “Twice As Hard” and “Sometimes Salvation." With a desire to breathe new life into this storied repertoire, Robinson has gathered five musicians whose musical journeys intertwine with The Black Crowes, including guitarists Marcus King and Audley Freed, keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Andy Hess and drummer Tony Leone. Appropriately calling the band, As The Crow Flies, they’ll perform shows consisting of music from throughout Robinson’s history at a handful of select U.S. dates in Spring 2018, while in-between tours with his primary outfit, the Chris Robinson Brotherhood.
