Joe Jackson

Pianist Joe Jackson's songs run the gamut of pop/punk ditties such as "Sunday Papers" and "Is She Really Going Out With Him" to intricate compositions and chamber music. His pop career hit a major high with 1982's "Night and Day," featuring the singles "Steppin' Out" and "Breaking Us in Two." Ever-restless and always changing course, Jackson traveled the world to record his 2017 album, "Fast Forward," his first collection of original songs in seven years, which was released in 2015.Produced and arranged by Jackson, it features four sets of four songs recorded in four different cities – New York, New Orleans, Berlin and Amsterdam – each with a different set of first-call supporting musicians. The results rank among the richest and most rewarding music of his storied career.

Coined by NPR Music as “poetic” and “evocative of feeling", Darlingside has continued to capture crowds with their signature, seamless harmonies and skill as multi-instrumentalists over the years. It’s evident in their discography that they make smart music, filled with lyrical depth and various instruments ranging from alto flute to the mandocello. Creating a genre-defying mix of traditional folk, indie rock, chamber pop, and Americana, the quartet gathers around a single condenser microphone — a testament of each member’s individual talent as well as Darlingside's unique ability to create a fifth instrument using their combined voices. It’s raw, it’s emotional, and most importantly, the band makes a genuine connection by treating each show as an experience rather than a performance.
